Songs for COTA CD

"This CD is a limited edition especially produced for COTA 2010 through the assistance of Philology Records based in Macerata, Italy. Paolo Pangiarelli is the owner of this jazz label and suggested that my next project for the label, part one of a Balladeer Supreme series, be issued at our annual Festival. Later it will appear in Europe under the Philology label (they use my cap as a logo). Kent Heckman volunteered his services and recorded and pressed 100 CDs at no cost to us. The musicians, Jesse Green, Mark Woodyat and yours truly also gave their services at no charge. My son Garth gave his talents to the project by designing the package and cover (taken from one of my favorite Bob Doney posters - COTA 1982). Rick Chamberlain did the liner notes and we are very proud to offer this CD to our most loyal fans."   -  Phil Woods
