Bob will talk about all the songs on the CD, as the music is debuted for the very first time publically. He will also answer questions and sign CDs.
Writing about Bob Dorough Duets, jazz journalist Dan Morgenstern said, “The results are wonderful …There are highlights on every number… pairing [Bob] with like-minded performers in a program of new and unique interpretations of gems from his rich catalog of songs… no wonder, then, that the music on this great CD has the warmth of an in-gathering of old and new friends.”

This is a Hammond organ driven, female fronted band. We do Blues, Rock, Zydeco and many popular songs of the day and yesterday.
We have great performers in this band. Mark Hamza is the B3 player, who plays a modified Hammond organ that allows him to play all the bass lines with his feet. Our singer, Sheila Stratton, spotlights the great female Blues and Rock singers from the 40's to the present.
Our guitar player, Big Daddy Dex, is a veteran Blues and Rock singer/guitarist who compliments Sheila's singing. His guitar playing provides a contrast to the organ. Rick Statsman, a graduate of Berklee School of Music, plays drums with uncanny empathy for our band. The SheilaMark Band plays a lively mix of tunes to get the audience up and dancing. We provide a unique and huge sound.
