Zen For Primates

T. Roth - lead vocals
Mike Krisukas - guitar, vocals
Pete Fluck - saxophone
Jodi Beder - cello
Shelagh Maloney - violin

More than two decades ago, musicians T. Roth and Mike Krisukas met, and their mutual interests led them to form the duo Rock 'n' Roll Circus. While on the road, they were introduced to Dave Smith and Mark Golin, which led to the birth of Zen for Primates.

After playing in Pennsylvania and New York City, the band in 1992 released its first album, and the following year shot its first music video.

The band started to drift apart in 1995, and its members did solo projects until a phone call in 1997 reunited Zen for Primates for another round. The band has been going strong since, with the addition of three new members, three CD releases and performances at various venues.

"Zen For Primates is a collaboration of the most amazing group of musicians I have ever seen. They don't follow the main stream core of the music business, which in this day and age settles for artists which are clones of other acts." -- Ed Stasium, Grammy-winning producer (The Ramones, Talking Heads, Mick Jagger, Rev Horton Heat)
